 Sufian Sadiq - Director of Teaching School

Sufian is a talented teacher with extensive management experience within the further education sector. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors and holds various roles with awarding bodies, specialising in quality assurance, examination and assessment. He is experienced in curriculum planning and design, standards and training.

Strengths

Teaching School, Continuous Professional and Leadership Development, School-to-School Support and SLEs. 

 

Anna Rogers - Director of Initial Teacher Training

Anna has worked in education for 22 years. She has been involved in leadership since 2005, working to transform standards in the schools she has worked in. Her last role was a Headteacher of a larger lower school. Anna is passionate about development and training needs and especially enjoys working with people to support them becoming the best teachers they can be.

Leadership in a range of areas, teaching and learning, development and improvement, people management.

Leading and managing the primary ITT provision for CTG to include recruitment and selection, training and assessment as well as the management and quality assurance of our training programme.

 

Clare McGivern - Deputy Director of Initial Teacher Training

Clare has worked in education since 2001.  Her last role in school was Assistant Headteacher in charge of Teaching School.  Clare has worked in ITT for her whole career, and mentored her first trainee as an NQT.  She firmly believes that  ITT providers are powerful agents for change for the wider profession

Marcus Ray - Senior SCITT Leader and Primary Phase Leader

 Marcus has worked in a variety of roles within primary education for 25 years and ITT for 5. He has experience of being an assistant headteacher, deputy, acting headteacher, subject leader, advanced skills teacher and most recently Director of Primary Maths across CLT primary schools.

Claire Justin - Teaching School Office Manager

Claire has over 25 years experience in administration management in the private sector, and has also conducted financial roles during this time.  Claire joined Chiltern Learning Trust in 2019 as the Teaching School Coordinator but quickly progressed to Office Manager.  Claire is also accredited to deliver Safer Recruitment Training.

Strengths

Administration management, strong attention to detail, organisational skills, diary management, SCR and Safer Recruitment knowledge, audit checks.

Areas of Responsibility

Overseeing all Teaching School and ITT Hub administration teams.  Diary management for the Director of Teaching School.  Organisation of Teaching School events.

 

Liane Blades - Finance

Liane trained and worked in Dentistry for 30 years, of which the last 10 years were as an accounts assistant for a large dental group.  Liane joined the Chiltern Learning Trust in June 2021 as a Senior Finance Officer to the Chiltern Teaching School

Financial management of the Teaching School, Provide a bursary service to the ITT Provision, Record Keeping and compliance of DfE grants

 

Elaine Warren - Administrator

Elaine has over 18 years experience in administration. Elaine joined the Chiltern Learning Trust in April 2021 having previously worked as an office manager for a telecommunication company where she undertook various roles over the 16 years she was there

Strengths

Administration, diary management, clerical, organisation skills, customer service, problem-solving.

Areas of Responsibility

Admin support for Initial Teacher Training and recruitment.

Cheryl Brown - Administrator

Cheryl has trained in the healthcare profession for  and spent several years working for the NHS in maternity. She previously made the jump into administration where she worked for a commercial contractor for 3 years, prior to joining Chiltern Learning Trust in June 2021.

Admin support for Chiltern Teaching School Hub - ECF and Appropriate Body, Admin support for ITT - Assessment only route and SCR administration, Wellbeing Ambassador.

 

Harriet Page - Administrator

Harriet worked in property management for 10 years as both a property manager and PA to the company owner. Harriet joined The Chiltern Learning Trust in November 2022 and is thoroughly enjoying working within the team and getting to know colleagues.

Sessions coordinator and admin support. 

 

Simone Milligan - Graphic and Visual Designer

After four years studying Promotional Graphics, Simone went on to spend many years gaining a wealth of experience working for blue chip music, video and print design agencies. Producing marketing merchandise for an array of celebrated music and film artistes. She worked her way through various design roles to a senior executive level. Simone started designing in the arena of education in 2005, joining the Chiltern Learning Trust in 2016, where her role includes coordinating and overseeing the design and production of internal and external print and digital publications, learning walls, marketing and communications.

Strengths

Passionate about communications and graphic design. Enjoys a creative challenge and problem solving with the use of images, infographics, layout and convincing visual design.

Areas of Responsibility

Working alongside CTG and the ITT hubs on creating engaging documents, publications, infographics and corporate identity.

 

Kerry Randall - Deputy Primary Phase Leader

 Kerry has 15 years experience as a Primary School Teacher working in schools across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Over a decade of Kerry’s career has been spent as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator and this is where her passion lies.  Kerry has both middle and senior leadership experience and has led core subjects as well as Inclusion.  Experience of safeguarding children has been gained through working as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Designated Teacher for Looked After Children.  As well as gaining experience of senior leadership in school, Kerry has provided school to school support through the role of SLE in both Primary and Secondary settings. Kerry is currently completing a Masters in Psychology.

Chris May - Deputy Secondary Phase Leader

 Chris has been working within the Trust for 11 years after qualifying as a Secondary PE teacher with CTG. In that time he has developed his understanding of ITT as a mentor and subject coordinator before moving into his current role. Chris has developed his leadership skills as a Subject Team Leader for PE and as Associate Assistant Headteacher at Challney Boys whilst also supporting the Trust through his work as a PE Subject Knowledge Expert and his work on the Behaviour Hubs Programme.

Trudie Squires - Deputy Secondary Phase Leader

Trudie has been working in education for over 25 years. She has leadership experience as a subject leader in Design Technology but also whole school leadership in Teaching and Learning, Assessment, Data and Tracking, CPD and Staff Development.
